No ‘End of History’: Lessons from the Fall of Communism Thirty years Later

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the rise of Poland’s Solidarity movement and the beginning of the peaceful fall of communism in Eastern Europe. Daniel Mahoney, Professor of Political Science at Assumption College, will draw lessons for the human spirit from the works of dissident writers under totalitarian regimes in the 20th century.
