Join us for a visit to the Morgan Library’s exhibition “The Book of Ruth: Medieval to Modern“. The Book of Ruth tells the story of a Moabite widow who remained with her mother-in-law despite famine and desperation and eventually became the great-grandmother of King David. The exhibition features the Joanna S. Rose Illuminated Book of Ruth (completed in 2017) and twelve medieval illustrated manuscripts. If you are interested, please RSVP below to let us know of your interest, and reserve a free ticket at the Morgan Library through this link (please reserve 3:30 PM on October 2, or 4:00 PM if the former is full).
