Reading Group of The Master and Margarita I

Join us for a virtual reading group of The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, a classic novel in which the Devil visits Stalinist Russia. We will use the Penguin edition, translated by Pevear and Volokhonsky. The discussions will be led by Prof. Jennifer Newsome Martin (Notre Dame). Wednesday, July 8 at 4:00 p.m.: Chapters 19-25 (“Margarita" through “How the Procurator Tried to Save Judas of Kiriath")

Wednesday, July 15 at 4:00 p.m.: Chapters 26-Epilogue (“The Burial" through “Epilogue")
