Twenty-five years ago, Christopher Beha gave up on God and became a committed atheist. The former editor of Harper’s Magazine and an acclaimed writer, Beha’s intellectual journey took him through the two major atheist worldviews: scientific materialism and romantic idealism. In his new book, Why I Am Not an Atheist, Beha argues that faith preserves the best of both traditions while offering a complete and coherent picture of reality. In this talk, he will discuss his life-long engagement with enduring human questions.
